 At first, an odd looking gun due to its 'skeletonised' stock, the SMK SYNTARG is an excellent adittion to the new 208 series from SMK. It is 1 of 3 newly released synthetic guns bringing new modern looking guns to the shops. The plastic is very hard wearing and looks professional, much easier to keep clean than the traditional wood! 






The SMK SYNTARG is a mid sized (102cm), break barrel, spring air rifle, coming in .177 and .22 calibre. The barrel length is only 42cm but do not worry, the accuracy is not compromised (maybe due to the smaller .177 pellet) but after little zero-ing on the sights, the gun had near perfect accuracy and after half a tin of pellets, i had no problem hitting 8/9/10s on my 17cm target at a 15m range and only on the standard non-telescopic fibre optic sights! More than enough for a beginner as this is what it has been said to suit, i do however feel that it could be used for whoever, not just a beginner, it suits all and is excellent accuracy for target shooting (.177) and capable of shooting vermin aswell! (.22 recommended). Also, the newer feature appearing on many guns recently is the fibre optic sights, which are briliant at illuminating the sights in little light. Not as powerful as CO2 guns, but for £100.00 who can complain!? it is excellent value for money and has the latest looks and features that will keep you hooked on this fantastic Air Rifle for a long time!
